CAPTAIN ALAN RAABE
In the diving world Al is renowned for his unique brand of wit and humour that makes every charter a unique and wonderful adventure. His knowledge of PNG’s underwater terrain is extraordinary and he will leave no reef unexplored in the search for whatever great diving happens to be available along the way. After more than 2 decades in the dive business, Al can still get as excited as a 4 year old on Christmas morning about a new species of Pygmy seahorse, a rare Hairy Ghost pipefish or a particularly electrifying shark encounter. His enthusiasm is contagious and both guests and crew can’t help but get excited. These days Al is dividing his time between FeBrina and Star Dancer, successfully training both crews to make the quest for exceptional diving the number 1 priority on each and every charter. |

ELSIE / Divemaster
Elsie started her diving career in 1998 as a cook on a dive boat. By the end of that year she had worked her way through PADI Rescue Diver courses, confident that she wanted to pursue a career in diving. She joined FeBrina 3 years later and quickly established herself an extremely competent divemaster and excellent critter finder. |

ELIJAH / Dive Deck Crew & Dive Guide
Elijah, a converted surfer dude, is one of the newest members of the FeBrina crew who joined the boat in 2002. In addition to running the dive deck, he also helps with tours underwater. |

JOSE / Relief Divemaster
Jose started her diving career on Star Dancer in 2001 and quickly worked her way through to Divemaster. Her passion for diving attracted the attention of some dive shop owners in the United States, and they helped her get a scholarship to complete her Instructor training in Mexico in 2003. She’s based on Star Dancer, but will often help out on FeBrina as well. |

ANDREW / Relief Chef
Andrew is the king of chocolate and has a line up of culinary delights that keep guests coming back for more. He can cater for special dietary needs, however the best approach is to leave the diet behind and enjoy the creamy ride. Andrew is also based on Star Dancer, but can be found in FeBrina’s galley on occasion. |

DICKY DOYLE / Witu Island Host
Dicky is a colourful character that has spent more than 38 years running a plantation on Witu Island. Amazingly, living in isolation has not diminished his thirst for knowledge. In addition to being incredibly well read and knowledgeable about so many subjects and island lore, he is also always up to date on sport scores around the world. Dickie will often join the boat for a day or 2 during each charter, entertaining guests with his special brand of charm. |
